Akanej Charity Foundation is a for-impact organization in Uganda dedicated to empowering women and youth through skills development, financial literacy, and road safety advocacy, while also supporting road crash victims in accessing compensation and justice.
At Akanej Charity Foundation, we are committed to empowering women and youth while promoting road safety awareness in Uganda. Through our comprehensive programs, we strive to create a society where individuals are equipped with the skills, confidence, and support they need to thrive.
We believe that personal growth is key to success. Our programs focus on leadership and self-confidence training, life skills coaching, and mentorship programs designed to foster financial independence and responsible transport behavior.
Safety on the roads is a shared responsibility. We conduct educational programs for youth and communities on responsible transport behavior, provide first-aid training for accident victims, and advocate for improved transport policies to enhance road safety.
We empower women and youth through interactive workshops that promote gender equality and inclusivity. Additionally, we offer legal and psycho-social support to marginalized individuals, including accident victims, to ensure they receive the care and justice they deserve.
Collaboration is at the heart of sustainable impact. We work with governments, NGOs, and businesses to develop community programs that integrate transport safety with economic growth. Through awareness campaigns, we champion initiatives that empower women and youth while advocating for safer roads.
